Shipped virtually fully assembled the lift attaches easily to a standard Class 3 trailer hitch which is a 2 inch opening.. The lift folds up vertically when not carrying the scooter, and has a perforated deck which greatly reduces wind resistance and allows for maximum visibility when driving with the lift in the upright position.
